Bang Lab Under Fire
The Transborder Immigrant Tool (TBT), a GPS enable phone and safety device for locating water on the U.S. side of the U.S. – Mexico border, has recently come under much scrutiny by politicians and University of California San Diego. Many are calling for the defunding of the project and even making physical threats towards Bang Lab, the creators of TBT.
Bang Lab is calling for support of their cause on their website in defense of “academic freedom for cultural producers” and against “the use of bureaucracy as a weapon” and the “criminalization of dissent.” Take a moment to visit their website and sign their blog.
